Hey all hope your well and having a lovely weekend. So I’ve been interested in the swinging world for as long as I can remember I’m only 26 so I like to call myself the next generation of swingers lol but I'am just so nervous to attend a club this may be *(TMI but I dont no if it’s because I’ll probably cum so quick through the excitement of it all lol) or what I just dont no but I’m so eager to go even if I’m not to play I just want to submerge myself in to this beautiful and wonderful world of swinging

So any advice or someone willing to help me on this journey would be so much appreciated

Thank you and happy fabbing xxx

Thinking about it usually makes it worse. The best thing to do is go with no expectations and have a couple of drinks and socialise. If anything happens then great if not you’ve still hopefully had a good time.

I would be nervous going alone too. I'd say go with no expectations or even if it takes the pressure off, no intention of playing just to observe

go without any expectations and treat it like a night out and you should probably be alright.

Is there anyone else you can go with?

You may wish to think about what you want to experience or rather what part of the Scene you are into (hotwife, bdsm, etc) and go on a themed night to a club. Hosts of events and clubs are usually very friendly and welcoming, so you shouldn’t feel isolated. Swinging is so wide now that you can find niche areas as your interests take you.

Also you say you are 26, and so you might like to mix with people your own general age and there are events such as Team Players and Romeo Styles parties which I think have a young crowd. Hope you find what you are looking for and have fun.

You could start by going to a group social. Not the same, but a good way to practice meeting with others despite your nerves.

Next, I'd suggest going to a Club with no intention of playing. Just view it as going to a normal club, or pub.

If anything happens, bonus, but don't expect it or plan for it (except being immaculately clean, etc.). If nothing happens, the next time you go you'll find a massive reduction in nerves.

Most definitely I feel I would like to deep my toe in many different pools to truly find the one for niche for me as for mixing with my own age I’d actually prefer to mix with older people as that’s kinda who I’ve been around my whole life. Thank you so much for your advice

That would be the plan to go there with no expectations as it’s such a new thing I think it would be better if I wasn’t to play on my first attendance for me it would just be nice to socialise and build connections for future outing so the pressure is off

A group social this is for to just talk with no play I feel this would be perfect as it’s allowing me to build up to the next step in a sense. Oh of course good Hygiene is a must

I think you've got exactly the right attitude. And as you're in London, I'm sure a search of the forums would show some group socials nearby.

Also, don't underestimate the value of hanging out in the forums and getting a good reputation. You might also make friends here who you could meet up with at a social, or when you do go to a club.

I think it is only natural to be nervous but if you don't go you will regret it. Before our big clubs events up here someone usually organises a pre social which is a drink in town before all going to the club together. This is great for the nervous first timers so maybe look to see if something similar happens near you.x

That’s what I’m most scared of lol I definitely dont want to be regretting never attending so will most definitely put the time in to find something similar to what they do near you x
