Paying for a hotel room

Do you ask for half or do you cover the cost?

We’re in the mindset that you’re our guest so we should cover the room…? After all, we’re getting to fuck you haha

Paradise, Herts

If Just two people then half or one pays then the other or one pays for other stuff etc. As a couple we would always pay if someone else joined us x.

I use to when I was younger but not no more. I only meet if they can accommodate. No longer paying for hotel rooms for first time to find out that I wouldn’t meet them again.

If I suggest a hotel that means I am willing to pay, if he wants to contribute then I suggest he pay for dinner.

If he suggests a hotel then I offer to pay towards cost or I buy dinner

depends on scenario i guess. you as a couple might be booking room anyway..

is it a premier inn at £65 or Indigo at £185 (or more!)

who got dinner or drinks?

who wants to pay as an alpha dominance move..

If a couple are with a single person should the couple pay two thirds ?

We go with the flow, if we're planning a hotel visit anyway, we'll pay

If though, a hotel is suggested entirely for the meet, I think splitting the cost is fair.

Everyone is involved, so all should cover the cost.

If we’re suggesting the hotel we’ll pay. If they suggest it we would offer half.

We’ll pay, as more often than not we’ll be staying the night.

"If a couple are with a single person should the couple pay two thirds ?"

I don't think so, it's likely of one of the couple wasn't interested to be involved, neither would be there.

Of course there are those that play alone, though I'm thinking of their aim is to pay together.

Our philosophy is if you are our guests, either in our home or out, then we cover the costs for accommodation, food etc.

However, we also know some people are fiercely independent and so won’t force it or create an argument over it.

I've paid for the room (or airbnb, more fun!) quite often, partly because I'm a trad gent who believes in paying for a first date, maybe more, sometimes because I knew the other person wasn't so well off. Happy to share costs or even get a freebie (cos I'm worth it, you know?) It would put me off immensely if anyone made it an issue!

I always pay for the room if I'm inviting you as a guest. I never accept anything from someone for it but I do appreciate when they offer anyway.

I love a nice hotel so I tend to pay. I don't want to be restricted by someone else's budget.

If it's someone I meet regularly then I tend to travel to them so no hotel required.

Depends on the circumstances.

If I’m not sleeping the night (and it’s not a day room) then I don’t expect to pay.

If I do stay the night then il pay half.

If somebody already has a room, like they are in holiday, then I wouldn't expect to pay. If it's a group decision to book one then I think everybody should chip in. If somebody really wants to pay then I'm not going to stop them but it wouldn't feel right.

If I'm inviting a guest(s)then I'll pay for the room

In the past when a couple and myself have agreed to use a room we have split the cost

In a ball gown because that's how we roll in N. Devon

I don't like to be paid for so will always want to pay half.

But I'm also not going to argue over it.

We always pay. That way it’s in our name, we can arrive whenever we like to get ourselves ready and if it’s an overnight then we stay there, just the two of us.

I used to take turns with a regular friend but i always booked it and he gave me the £.

Except one time he booked a twin room... Mid session the beds parted and I disappeared down the gap

That would be our understanding too. However guests could always feel free to bring some tasty treats along with them
