Stayed over at a friend's last night and am currently sitting downstairs on my own drinking coffee wondering if it's rude to just go home as they haven't got up yet!

Or should I put some bacon on and make myself some breakfast.

You had me at house plants and gardening. I'm slightly obsessed with houseplants (until the garden gets going again) Hoping to hit 200 this year, wanna trade cuttings?

Hi op. The youngest and I are taking the dog to the local nature reserve for a walk shortly (beautiful day here). Then I need to sort out my holiday clothes - last minute shopping to buy shorts etc - sort out a new phone as mine is old and knackered - then clean the house for the kids as I’m off to Jamaica next week (did I mention im off to Jamaica? ).

All in all a bloody busy day/week - but it’ll be sooooo worth it when I’m sitting on that plane!

I should be telling you to enjoy your holiday... whatever that may be. But, I'm more confused as to why you're the one doing the housework? Get them onto it, after all... youre gonna be in Blackpool.

I’ll leave a clean house and come home to a dirty one. That’s the deal with teenagers - everyone knows that!

I actually rather like a night out in Blackpool (classy bird that I am) and there are a couple of great clubs there too. Jamaica gets top trumps though!

Did I say I’m going to Jamaica?

I need to pack for my holiday, clean my whole house, do the shopping, finish a work project and send out all of my invoices so I've got some money whilst on holiday.

So far I've been to yoga and now I'm sitting drinking coffee not really knowing where to start.

Start with the biggest jobs or the jobs you really don't want to do so they are out of the way leaving just the little jobs to do

Next Door

I've had a really lazy morning.

Got up at 5.30 to let the cat out, went back to bed and slept until gone 10. I can't remember the last time I slept that long.

Now sipping a cuppa before doing a few chores.

Then it'd Monday again
