We have been real lucky on this site, only had the one person cancel in all the while we been on this site..

On an old well known site we used to be on, a good 4 out of 10 would not show or cancel so lot better here.

I used to think it was something I was doing on the other site, cos we had so many cancel.

But then we joined here we did the same things and had maybe 2 cancel in the first year, so not something I was too worried about!!

However in the last month I have had 4 people cancel and only 1 actually turn up and he was someone I had met before

So I have decided to not get my hopes up and put up a meet now if someone does cancel

OR do what we did last time have a nice long meal without the kids and actually enjoy something without having the kids there.

I know in my head that you are right Tony BUT let me tell you when the staples first came out I was in tears thinking how badly I was mutilated!!

I couldnt see past the scar never mind that the condition meant I had spent 6 months not being able to move with pain, hadnt lifted my right arm for almost a year and needed help dressing and doing my hair!!

Now that I have some movement back I dont care about the people who get put off by my condition I know Im me and I have to accept my scars lumps bumps and shaved leg!!

And tbh there are enough guys out there who see past the scars and see the real me who still likes a laugh and has as much fun as I did before this condition decided I was having too much fun and it wanted to rain on my parade
