Shall I stick with wood or swap to metal or plastic?

Or splash out on a brick one?

Maldon and Peterborough

Get a Keter one. Definitely worth the money.

And if you move you can take it with you.

Depends on the size you want and where.

Brick structure may need planning permission

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

Wood or plastic imo.

Metal would get too hot in the summer

I'm all in favour of imaginary sheds. Lightweight, economical and it's easy to locate your tools etc.... and they are rot proof.....

Do cats hide in them though?

Hmmm. I'll still get some CDs on sticks to dissuade them, I think...

Metal will be cold in winter and hot in summer.

How much time are you planning on spending in said shed?

We’ve had a plastic store (so smaller than a shed) for years - hasn’t faded, deteriorated etc., kept everything safe and dry and has moved house with us.
