" Serious question, do you have to change teams every time you move house? If I'd supported my local team all my life, I'd be on about my 8th team. Maybe more. I support a team from a place I've never actually lived in, but my Dad is from there, lives there and took me to matches from being very young. My allegiance has never changed, even when we dropped out of the FL for a while.

I live in London so many people I know have a second, sometimes third, local team. Cause their first is Polish or Spanish or whatever. Of course you don't have to change allegiance when you move city. However, I think you have to actually support your team, with your actual voice and wallet, at actual games on rainy nights in the depths of winter otherwise you're not a supporter. Huddling in a pub shouting at a screen showing a stadium you've never been to doesn't cut it for me. Am I just old?

I used to follow Tranmere all over the country but it's much, much harder to do now. Just getting into some stadia in our league is hard work, many have single digit disabled spaces etc. The last time I watched TRFC at Bolton , I had to go into the Bolton supporters area to get my half time refreshments. I honestly felt very vulnerable because Bolton and TRFC do NOT get on and it would only take 1 wazzock! My Dad is no longer fit to traipse around football grounds either, unfortunately. He sometimes goes to TRFC because he lives very locally and can walk there.

" No European football for years. The opening of the new toilet bowl and 1st game they played there they lost to west ham. " If you are trying to have a go at least get your quotes right It was the fifth game at the new stadium that the hammers beat us. Prior to that 8 goals and 4 clean sheets No European football, we’ve been in European competition every season since 2006, so assuming you mean Champions League which we were last in, in 2020
