This is your reminder to go wash your brushes and blenders!

It's a boring, back breaking job but it's so worth it!

How often do you wash yours or are you like me and just buy more clean brushes

Of course that just means I have more dirty ones to clean when I get round to it!

How do you clean yours?

I'm a mix of both, either wash regularly (weekly) or end up buying new ones. If I've not been impressed with one it goes in the bin

I usually use my large MAC brush to wash my Benefit one, which is turn I use to de-grease my DIORshadow wand brush.

I use my fingers. So I wash them every time I touch my bum. Usually. If they smell.

I'm currently using imperial leather shower gel for blenders and s body shop shampoo bar for brushes.

Oh I heard if you stand them up to dry the water softens the glue and the bristles fall out!

I lay them down too, with the bristles hanging over the edge of a folded towel.

I use bar soap. I've just found it works the best. I lather it up then scrub it in a mini sieve then rinse and repeat until the water runs clear. I struggle more with cleaning beauty blenders and often just replace them. I've found running them through the washing machine to be most effective but I worry the make up will get into other stuff.

shouldn't do that, it can damage the bristles and loosen the glue that holds them

I use vosene. I used to use baby shampoo when my sproglets were little but I’ve upped it a level now.

Dry them hanging over the window ledge above a radiator. Or stand them up in a cup. Depends how organised I am and how many I am cleaning.
