I think it feels like less compared to how it uses to be, but like another person has said I think many people have joined who aren't actually looking to swing.

In fab more, its coming up to dogging and beach season, the sun gets everyone more horny and my local status updates go nuts.

On the forums less, more loved up and satisfied people are posting which is lovely to see, but for people that only seek others on the forums I can imagine a tad frustrating.

Think it’s getting harder to find genuine folk the internet has opened things up but so many non genuine people than compared to the contact mag days where letter writing and Polaroid pics and the effort involved stopped the time wasters

I’m not inundated with meet requests. But what I do know is there’s lots of chatting that fizzles out into nothing. Sadly. I don’t know why, but I’m now of the view, if we don’t meet for a social sooner than later. I’m not sure if it will ever happen, as a bigger fish has probably caught their eye. That’s fab, as I was once told.

Percentage wise, I’d say less are meeting. But that’s just my opinion from all the threads about time wasters. Fakes. How hard it is etc. mainly men.

Things have changed in many ways. The way people use the site, we’ve had over 2 years of covid in between and various lockdowns.

To ask if it’s easier to meet all depends on yourself.

I meet on my own terms, never someone else's.

Anyone suggesting a meet after a week or so obviously hasn't read or understood my profile so they are wasting their own time.

If a conversation fizzles out or if they go unlos it just confirms my reasons for getting to know people before agreeing to meet.

If they are that flaky just in chat imagine the drama if we actually met!

As far as people meeting more or less my approach hasn't changed an iota in 5 years here. Covid didn't affect my meet strategy at all.

I find this too and I never engage, not here to be someone's wank fodder or to help get them off, get to know me with normal conversation then meet me. It's not rocket science.

And if they disappear then I'm obviously not worth the effort of a coffee and they are not worth my time

90% of chats fizzle out and do t go no where that's not time wasting.

Time wasters are the sad group of people who deliberately lead people on arrange. Face to face meet at a location, say they are going and the simply don't show up without an explanation. That my friend is a time waster.

By your definition every fab member including ourselves are time wasters because nobody follows up on all their chats, as stared earlier about 90% fizzle out mostly when one party loses interest and doesn't reply to the last message received.

Isn't it? Bottom line is there's a 'core' within each area who actually actively look to meet. Then there's the 'I like the idea/teasing chat', who will never meet in a 100yrs. Plus the 'I like to dip a toe?' who may/may not meet? But dunno if they really want to?... I'd say Fab is 90% time wasters (as in zero intention to ever meet), and probably 5% again who may? But 'only' within perimeters to 1%...so that basically leaves you with a core of 5% who may, on a good day if the stars all align... Maybe
