How much truth do you speak

somewhere

When you’ve had a drink or 10?!

Do you have a tendency to say things you don’t mean? Or are your inhibitions lowered so you say things you mean but wouldn’t necessarily be brave enough to say when sober?

I say things as I see them sober or not.

Having a drink may make me phrase things not as well as they may be or less tactful sober.

I'm quite shy when I am sober but after a couple of drinks, I'll probably explain where I'd like to lick someone while their finger is in my bum!

For some reason decided to tell my mother that we'd opened our relationship after a drink or ten

Thankfully she was more tipsy and didn't remember

Just would have meant explanations that we didn't want to elaborate on

I haven't had more than two drinks for so long that I can't remember.

I don't always tell the truth sober either. Sometimes its better to just keep quiet I'm also aware that my opinion isn't the same as the truth

I tend to say what I think the person I am speaking to wants to hear. Maybe that's fibbing, maybe that's being nice. Don't know. It's too late and I'm pissed. M

The latter for me. I'm honest when sober, but I can be less open to sharing certain information about myself too.

I’m usually a happy d*unk. I like to gear people io to laugh and have a good time.

V occasionally il say something out of character and the next day I spin it round and round in my head and feel awful about myself.

I’ve seen some vicious d*unks in the past. Horrific in fact. I’ve never been as bad as what I’ve witness thankfully

I can be far too truthful so I'm wary of that and will sometimes just not comment rather than saying too much that I may later wish I hadn't said.

Forever truthful but not entirely brutal, well not brutal in my opinion but suppose someone else could take offence at hearing the truth.

Depends who I'm with. I can be brutally honest after a few drinks and will be more confident in what I say but some things will always remain locked away in my head as I'm a man of my word. There's a reason why people trust me to talk to and I will never betray people's trust in me

On a mooch

I don’t need a drink to be a straight talker but I choose who I talk to & how, if I don’t want to talk to someone I shut it down quickly and walk off.

However, with a drink if someone keeps pushing, can’t let something lie and really wants to know, then they’ll get both barrels and it won’t be pretty. Luckily it’s a rarity that has to be done.

They might not hate you at all. They may be jealous of your honesty and have stuff to hide.

I don't drink and never have done but I've been the designated driver enough times to have been subjected to the "truth".

More often than not the truth they speak is about bigging themselves up rather than knocking others down and it is really just an exaggerated version of their sober persona.
