#Scam number 0********** the person is saying he's from Virgin Media #VirginMedia saying you have an unsecured Wi-Fi, this is causing a data breach and your personal information is vulnerable.

If you receive phone calls from a suspected scammer, just hang up. To make things more secure, call your Internet service provider to inquire about this call. The real Virgin Media representative should know this information.

Time: 17.30 Date 21/04/2022

Updates on this situation. Spammers are now sending phishing emails when you click on them to put them in your junk mail or unsubscribe the email sends a command (VIRUS) to your PC that corrupts pieces of software potentially creating privacy breaches.

You then receive a phone call from the scammer stating they are from a particular Internet service provider saying you have a data breach on your PC/Wi-Fi.

This is sometimes undetected with your antivirus software
