How often do you find you do that when reading a thread. You go to reply but can’t be bothered?

What’s your reason for deleting?

Mine is normally I notice the spelling mistakes and by the time I change it all the moment has gone.

Also FAF?

My reason for deleting is usually that I realise I cant be fucked to say what I wanted to say because the person its aimed at wont understand it or is too much of a cock womble to appreciate it.

Sometimes because I realise I just can't be bothered as it's a troll post ,sometimes because I can't write it exactly how I like to, sometimes I the moment just goes and other times I think nah there's no point you can't fix stupid so why even bother wasting time posting

Read it back and If it makes me laugh, it’s too inappropriate so don’t post it.

So then I delete it.

Most of the reasons already quoted are exactly why for me.

Especially some of the more serious ones I actually really do want to post on but way the forums here work re lack of notifications, etc. I just mostly CBA. As it feels arduous and lacking the flow I became used to when I started using forums when I was young(er)

Hence I tend to exit without even posting.

All the time, for all kinds of reasons...

Losing my train of thought in constructing a long reply on some of the more complicated threads; assuming someone else has/will make the point I was going to make; deciding it's not as funny as it sounds in my head; losing the will to type; or not wanting to get in the way of a other people's conversations. And sometimes I just hit post too.

Think I start typing something and then delete it about 50% of the time.

Sometimes it because I can't express my thoughts clear enough for other to understand or because I think fuck it this will just lead to too much hassle if I write what I really want to say.
