I put the opened eggs in a zip bag in the fridge ready for when my kids come back but there are only so many days I can pretend they aren’t there every time I open the fridge

Usually I buy myself an Easter egg as a treat but this year I didn't.

I resisted temptation because I am recovering from surgery and am rather immobile at the moment and therefore the last thing I wanted to do was sit in bed eating chocolates all day.

I know what I am like and it would trigger an episode of loss of self control, then self loathing and then having to detox myself off sugars... its just not worth it.
