You can only be one. Which would you rather be?

Show your working for full marks. Exams are around the corner!

I’m smart.

Why? Because I’m too fat to be good at sport.

You’re good enough for championship football- mid table top European leagues and smart enough for professor at a top uni

Do I come across as religious?

Sports and exercise are bad for your health, just ask Rik Mayal.

Sticking with the OP's exact question of what you would rather be and a choice of one only, smart of course. Why would anyone want to be excellent at sport but totally stupid? Most people would be happy somewhere in between of course.

I'm both.

I used to programme radars for fighter jets for a living. I also hold a 4th Dan in taijutsu and have trained and fought Muay Thai in Thailand.

But what if you are good at both??

My School was feared to give special treatment to its Football (Gaelic) players,,

Once you made the teams you wanted for nothing grades wise,

in the middle, I'd say. You blend in a little better that way. Who would want to stick out like a sore thumb whether it was the ribcage or the smart arse attitude.

In that case, sport please. You’d earn enough to retire and never have to work again if you weren’t totally ignorant of money as most footballers seem to be.

I wouldn’t want to be the extreme of anything. I’m reasonably bright & reasonably good at the sport I enjoy. I do have an abundance of common sense though

Worked out in my final year I had ADD. Sport allowed me to use my focus and academics became lucid when I wasn't focused.

Unfortunately it meant I didn't really enjoy playing because I always thought I could have been better but I came out with a decent degree, sports colours and some caps, so looking back on it I think I did OK. Not 100% though (dammit!)

I'd say I'm more sporty, I've done muay thai , played many years of amateur football , now I've aged and my body isnt what it used to be, I play a lot of pool tournaments. I wouldn't say I am thick though , work doing lots of finances / accounts for work
