Do your hormones/cycle effect the way you feel about meets? Curious to hear other women's perspective xx

Yes, there are times of the month when I have zero interest in men or having sex, then there are others when I can't get enough.

Currently not on any birth control, that's always caused me to have even less interest.

Yes, definitely. I think that's in part because of a medical condition that causes me normally to have a high level of testosterone. Day to day (assuming I'm in a good mental place) my libido is high. During ovulation it's a nightmare, I could happily flirt with any man. Once my period strikes, I'm definitely more aware of my female hormones to put it politely.

Yes it definitely does. The week of is out for obvious reasons. The week before I'm irritable/emotional so really not interested.

That leaves a two week window of opportunity where one of those weeks I'm more interested than the other week.

Yes definitely. At some stages of my monthly cycle I would never consider meeting as my hormones make me feel, fat, grouchy, unattractive and vulnerable. I wouldn't want to meet anyone when I'm feeling that way.

When did she start and how long are her periods normally? Are they heavy/light? Taking double pills aren't going to stop it.

I usually write a week off for mine.

Thanks for the advice, really appreciate it. When we first met last June she didn't really come on at all. Her sex life ramped up somewhat when we got together and she has progressively started having some bleeding.

It's not been that heavy really (my ex wife and my daughter practically bleed to death once a month so I know what that's like).

It started Friday and to date has only lasted 3 days ish. We are going to the old hellfire club on Saturday so unless the pills she took provokes an adverse reaction I'm fingers crossed all will be well.

If nothing else it's shifted her cycle a week earlier putting it on our with kids weekend instead of half of our with each other weekends - silver lining
