We're quite new to the NM lifestyle, but from a few socials and meets we've both sort of come to the conclusion that we'd like the same thing.

Is it possible to have a group of swingers, who become more like proper friends who you go out and do things together but are not expecting to have sex when you meet up every time?

We feel much more at ease talking to people in the lifestyle than most of our normal group of friends as they are more reserved.

Is this possible to achieve or are most here just to hit and quit?

I hope so op.

problem is in fab, distance, I am talking to people all over the country, thinking about meeting up regularly is difficult to imagine.

Like you, my close friends are very ‘not into this kinda thing’

so new friends would be cool.

Anything is possible X although I have found the more you socialise with people the less you have sex with them. I've made some very good friends on here but we rarely play either together or as a group.

I have got that now from the UpTheBrum socials.

I now feel part of a community, we chat, go for drinks, meals, walks, etc. as groups with no sex. We are just a bunch of good mates, who also happen to socialise in groups at clubs.

It's great.

This is exactly what we want, although with the off chance that something could lead somewhere naturally.

My wife loves the social aspeect from our short dip into the lifestyle, but finds the pressure of turning up to a club etc. just to have sex a little too much for her.

She'd much prefer having friends who are more open-minded, who we can go do 'vanilla' things with and if something leads somewhere organically through that then perfect.

Yes, things do occasionally just happen between some of us. Some of us it will never happen between.

As for the clubs, I think you / her are seeing them in the wrong light. We often meet up at clubs as a group, and I've had a great night just socialising. You don't need to have sex at the clubs, same as you don't need to have sex when you go to a vanilla pub / club, it's just its much more social than those and a lot more open.

We have a group of around 12 mostly single fabsters that meet as friends once a month.. it’s completely platonic but we just all get on so well as a group that we’ve made it a regular get together. It’s very possible to have a fab social life it’s just finding your people

That sounds brilliant and exactly what we want. Camping, cycling etc with a group off fab friends would be the dream
