We would like to say to anyone who looks forward to a day or weekend off, and dreads going back; you are in the wrong job, life is too short, quit, go and do what you want to enjoy doing.

I’d say the opposite. If you want to go back to work tomorrow there is something seriously wrong with you. Unless you’re a wine taster or Top Gear presenter.

It means you enjoy your work. If you don't enjoy it, go elsewhere to be happy.

It pays enough for me to enjoy my time off. That’s good enough for me.

I'm still waiting for a new start date for my new job. It should have been the 4th April but they've been messing me about with the pre-employment checks

Yeah it's a bloody pain, asking me for email addresses, filling in yet more forms. I turned down a job from my agency for this job and I wish I hadn't. I could have been working just now while waiting on these checks getting cleared
