Gentlemën, Lådies, Binarïes and Whateveries...indulge me for one audiovisual moment:

I have never followed Coronation Street but just a few moments ago I came across an episode (circa 1960) on ITV2+¹.

If I was to watch every episode since, back to back, how many months or years would it take?

Or would I just end up watching it in perpetuity as I try to catch up to present day?

How many hours a day are you proposing for this project?

"How many hours a day are you proposing for this project?

"

It's not a proposition. It's just a hypo-pathetical (sic) endeavour.

But it would be every hour of each day.

There’s 10,230 episode some are a hour long not diging though 10k odd to find out how meny at

But normal run time is 25 minutes 30 including brakes

But if yous black market steaming sites there’s no brake I would assume that’s what you be useing

To find them all

So that’s 10,230 x 25 = 255750 minutes

60 minutes in a hour so that’s 255750 divided by 60 =

4262.5 hours

So that’s 4262.5 divided by 24 = 177.6 days off continued watching

But again that’s doing everything at 25 minutes a episode

And the be about 200 or so special that run a hour long

So ruff estimated off about 200 days

And that’s only if doing online black market steaming with the brakes cut out

As long as there is an episode on that day and watched the last two hours of previous episodes easier that day too

In the monkey house

Started on December 9th 1960 broadcasting 2 episodes a week, half an hour shows, until 2017. Moved to 6 half hour episodes in 2017 until 2022 when it went to hour long episodes. I think, to date roughly 11000 hours.

Up North

I’ll save you the bother.

At the beginning at cat walks along a back yard wall.

Mike Baldwin shags Deidre, Ken Barlow finds out so he confronts Mike and bops him one right on the end of his snoz. Alan Bradley then gets run over by a tram at Blackpool chasing Rita.

Then the credits roll.

Just saved you 200 days there mucker.

RêxChops, I'm forever in your debt. However I used to watch Vikings and there was a character called King Ecbert of Wessex, played by Linus Roache. I didn't know his dad is William Roache (Ken Barlow). And Ken Barlow was the character that was on screen at the moment when I accidentally switched channels.

This is such a superfluous and incongruous thread. I blame the OP. Twonk.

The main difference being, that would have been time well spent.
