No mot and insurance on vehicles

Most of us pay for these to keep us legal

But its impossible to report any one know how???

..you just call the police? Like any other crime. 101 is the non-emergency number.

DVLA probably already know, mind. Lots of data sharing between them and insurance companies.

Hmmm. My mother managed to drive an uninsured, un-MOT'd car for at least two years. I only discovered this retrospectively, by the way.

Tax is reminded then automatic fine through the post, insurance the same.

I was stung for taking the insurance off a car that was stored in my garage without SORNing it first.

If the car is being used on the roads you can report to the police, or leave a note on their windscreen to give them the heads up? They may have forgotten.

Yup, lots of data sharing between the DVLA and other countries too (not sure how much this has been impacted by Brexit, mind). You can see all the ANPR systems around major ports.

you can only check for tax and mot the average person can’t check personal details like insurance as it has information like bank details etc etc
