"The site" Welcome. The first step is to use the forum search facilities. Look for advice on messaging, profile writing, good photos, etc... it will save you loads of time and effort getting it right. Generally for single guys on here it can be really hard going as there are 100s of blokes for every woman on here, be patient and expect very little in the way of response. Taking part in the forums however is a different story. It won't get you laid, but will gives you loads of laughs. Enjoy. Cal

"This is my best advice: 1. Avoid asking silly questions on forums. Any such question you ask as a male will be subjected to ridicule and met with hostility “because you’re a man”. It’s ok if a woman asks silly questions though. 2. Ignore the above. Enjoy the forums for advice and giggles they provide, but I’d strongly advise not relying only on forums as a means to meet people, since many - especially in the Lounge - are regulars and “aren’t currently meeting”, using FAB only as a social network. 3. Write a decent profile. Talk about your interests, your sexual orientation, what you’re looking for. Imagine you’re applying for a job - why do you think they should pick you? 4. Approach anyone with respect. Always write a polite and original opening message that in some way links to their profile. 5a. Don’t be a dick when they answer and say no. Which they inevitably will (that’s not a personal insult, it’s just a fact). 5b. Don’t be offended when your message is deleted without reply or left unread. This will happen most of the time. Someone once advised me to delete all sent messages so that you don’t have to wallow in your own self-pity as you watch your yellow unread list grow. 6. Manage your expectations of the amount of replies you will receive. Your starting point ought to be “near zero” and I’m not even joking. Even some of the gym-obsessed sexual tyrannosaurus’s on here have to write as many as 2 messages before they get their end away. Seriously though, be patient and persevere. 7. Do I have to write “don’t send unsolicited dick pics”? Bit obvious? 8. You get out what you put in. True story. 9. Despite how I’ve made this sound, FAB can be a source of endless fun and enjoyment. Good luck! Will " This X

"Any tips for brand new users ??" Pop I’m up some picture. Don’t leave a silloette. Put some text on your profile. Send out some messages or reply politely to those who send you a Dm that you like. Delete those you don’t want to meet.( it’s a polite no thank you)
