Reports that the Ross 308 chicken is genetically modified to be killed after only 35 days. They grow so fast that their bone structure and organs cannot keep pace. That is why supermarkets can sell a chicken for 3 quid..

What's going on here guys...

No wonder this chicken does not taste of anything...

Reminds me of the old joke about the guy who buys a new sports car & gets overtaken by a 3 leg chicken running along the road, he follows the chicken to a farmyard full of 3 leg chickens, he asks the farmer about them & he says he bread them as he likes a leg his wife likes a leg & his son likes a leg, "what do they taste like" asks the car driver, I dont know replies the farmer I have never managed to catch one

Pretty much every animal that we use has been selectively bred to be what it is. None of them ever existed in the wild as they are now... and if we all went vegan, these animals would all become extinct.

Yes, but the ways that we selectively breed plants? Like slicing a piece off one and strapping to something totally different, sprinkling plant hormones on it, and then it grows together? That's proper Frankenstein science.
