Heard this over and over in person (yes BRAAAG!) . So as another OP touched upon the femininity subject, I want to touch on the sexiness.

We know what standard beauty is or whatever, but

What does it mean to be sexy?

Is it like the way you present yourself? Is it an energy that others pick up on? Is in the eyes or the way you move?

Or a combination of all, perhaps?

How do you interpret sensuality and sexiness? What does it mean, when they tell you, you are so sexy!

Or what does it mean when you see someone and you tell them they are sexy

(Probably a question I’ll have to interrupt and ask the guys who find me sexy…

I agree that I think sexy is an energy and also confidence as midnight said.

Its very hard to explain it I think. It’s something you can feel tho

I don't think it matters a damn if others find me sexy. It matters if I feel sexy and to me that's being in touch with my sexuality and feeling confident in my sexual attractiveness.

Like if you feel sexy then it radiates and someone who’s attracted to you, will feel that sexiness in you?

Anyways to answer your question, no I Don't think it's purely physical and I also don't think it's an energy from within, I think it's a combination of traits that are linked to your appearance (or voice), personality and the way you think and conduct yourself

I don’t feel like I’m ‘sexy’ for a number of reasons.

But I do think sexiness is something we carry. Like BDE (Big Dick Energy) for example. It’s hard to describe. I guess it’s confidence? It’s mostly that. And that carries into the way you are in spaces generally when you’re standing/ sitting/ moving. The way you communicate as well. I don’t find looks/ glances/ expressions all that sexy because it’s more about how it’s done than the act itself. An attractive person nervously biting their lip in an encounter with you is not sexy.

Yes I definitely feel that it’s all about the energy. I just know that I am sexy. No matter what size I have been and what physical type someone is into, there’s just an energy that some people give off that is just damn hot!

I know that I have it and yes confidence is most definitely a big part of it which is why I have got sexier with age despite young and slim women being the preferred norm.

Intelligence and strength of character play quite a major part also imho.

It’s an aura..some people just have it! Like a natural vibe about them that people feel drawn too, someone with an edge you just can’t put in to words xx

I find multiple things sexy not just people - music, dancing, art…that feeling you get when you just look at or hear something and it gives you a tingle down your spine xx

Ah, but that's it: it's definitely not something you can objectively measure. It's an x-factor. Maybe an aura, if energy's not the right term (scientifically). I've met lots of very attractive people who I didn't find sexy.

Maybe it is confidence - as others have said above, if they feel sexy then they'll be giving off a sexy energy. Not sure, but you sure know it when you see/feel it.

well yes - but that's the point - there is no other way to talk about energy than a scientific way

If you hand 100 people a meter and ask them to measure how many volts an electrical circuit is producing they'll all give you the same answer

If you ask 100 people who all agree that a particular person is sexy what it is that makes that person sexy you'll get many different answers - all of which will be vague and kind of nebulous.

Don't get me wrong - that's what makes sexy so gosh darned.... well, sexy

The fact that we can't pin it down, distill it and bottle it.

It's vague, it's tautological, it's..... sexy

I guess, tho I’d use a different word maybe. Like “you are hot” rather than sexy

But would be the synonym that personally, I’d use for guy to let them know they are sexy and that I feel like I want them and they have that sex appealing energy about them
