"Actually it depends on the model year, the new focus 2011 onwards doesn't have a swivel badge and the catch is inside, once the bonnet pops lift it slightly and feel to the left for a lever and pull to release" That's mine thank you I'm not going mad | |||

"thanks everyone found it id have never of thought of looking there Where was it ? " The Mk1 and Mk2 focuses had them hiding under the badge, as did the Mk3 Mondeo - think they stopped doing it as they were rusting up, I had a 98 Focus and the bonnet lock rusted away to nothing lol | |||

There is no bonnet release button inside the car, instead you have to lift the Ford badge on the front and insert the key. This could cause a problem for people who don't know how to do that. I knew someone that spent a long time trying to work out how to open the bonnet. | |||
