However, she did create some stunning paintings, almost 200 years ago.

Yes i like her works, George Samuel Elgood is another if you like botanical themes. He painted some lovely landscapes, some of which are in the Royal Collection.

Might want to check the definition of sapiophile, my friend. I wouldn't worry too much though, a lot of people make the same mistake.

I'm just a humble photographer. And whilst I use the word and to begin a sentence, I can't help admiring how wonderfully her paintings follow the rules of composition. The rule of thirds, the rule of the golden thingumybob.

Don't get me wrong, botanical is good and I do live in close proximity to Bodnant, but I might despise the NT, CADW etc.
