What has love got to do with it?

Is it just a second-hand emotion?

Do you believe in love?

Have you been in love?

Personally I dislike love and refuse to fall for that tosh ever again.

What say you?

Love just happens, you can't stop yourself falling in love.

You can still love someone but hate the person they are, children are and example of tha. t. You love them but don't always like them!

Love is wonderful when it's unconditional. The issue is with unrequited love, I feel. X

Depends on what you mean by love

I'm kind of sceptical about TV/movie/novel romantic love

But I have friends and family that I would literally lay down my life for - or at least donate a kidney for

I’ve loved, been loved and still love a few people, I don’t believe in falling in love though, it misses the point about hard work sacrifice. If love comes too easy or quick it’s probably lust or infatuation

In a ball gown because that's how we roll in N. Devon

Love is a gift, and should be given freely and without strings or caveats.

"I love you" should be purely fact rather than having the question "do you love me?" attached silently to it. If you can give love without expecting an answer it is a beautiful thing and so fulfilling.

being a young lad and having that mind state I did fall in love on one night stands, but learning the hard way, love has nothing to do with it, once everything is on the table. If both parties are honest then everyone knows what it's about

I’ve loved. My first long term relationship was the only relationship I’ve had where I feel the love was mutual. And it was a great love. And he is the man who taught me what love feels like and more importantly, looks like. His actions mirrored his words.

I am a hopeful romantic. But somewhat doubtful that kind of love can happen more than once.

There are different kinds of love, the love of a child, a partner, a swinging friend. Many are afraid of love, most are hurt by its loss in whatever form it took. We love long term naughty friendships and yes in a way we love the people too and hurt somewhat when it ends, especially if unreasonably. We are very loving, caring, yet seem to find many are quite the opposite. How deep is your love ?...

Yes I believe in love, when it’s unforced, when it comes without expectation or ideal, when it’s not keeping up with the Jones’s and posting elaborate gestures, when it’s pure and comes out of nowhere, when it hits you right in the gut and you just know! The kind of love that enhances you, that makes you feel alive that allows you to still be you that’s the kind of love you’d bottle and sell!

None of this pre conceived ideal that it’s all a bed of roses the kind where you are smothered, controlled or worse still you change for another human being that can take a fuck to itself!

But when it’s real it’s the best feeling there is - be it in a romantic or purely platonic sense xx
