Do you know what

My nan’s spare room.

I know that a lot of you gorgeous lot all met up for socials this weekend and I’d dearly love to have been there too.

But here’s the thing,

Do you know what, I love the fact that I’ve made some lovely friends on here who I’ve never met, it’s a funny thing that, that can be the case isn’t it.

If I could meet you all for a cup of tea and to share a bag of crisps I’d love to.

But I’m the meantime, for those of you that I bother with my random musings, thank you, you’re great lovely and sexy people.

By the way, we’d better get a bag of crisps each, it’s too painful to share them as there’s the awkwardness of who gets the last of the bag.

It's the best thing about fab o/p, a nice way to socially interact with thoughts, ideas and humour.

Long may it continue.

Good post op.

But I do feel that we become reliant on the social media and forums for our contact. I would much prefer to share conversation (and more ) face to face.

There’s lots of you I would love to meet up with sometime, as the past has shown how much in common we alll share.

I’ve clicked with a few off of here without meeting.

But then the meeting has just been as incredible as the learning shown there was a great connection.

But I’ve also met some incredible people at the socials too.

Definitely needed more time as I didn’t get to chat to nearly enough people.

But also made some incredible new friends too

The most painful thing about crisps is the crumbs- when you share them in bed!

I meet face to face but also very much enjoy chatting to my virtual friends who are funny and sexy and amuse me with pics and videos. These people keep me company at all hours of the day, when in person meetings would be difficult and I wouldn’t be without them.

Great post OP

Just to add, there’s a reason I stay here, I wouldn’t log onto a place where I didn’t feel welcome, The thread starters and the people who reply to the posts (or dms) should be commended. It’s easy to find yourself just reading and not interacting, but you’d never make friends that way. It’s like r adding a book alone or going on an adventure with a pal. I know what I’d rather do.

What I missed most when I was away ??

This

Just this

When I go on my breaks, I never say goodbye or let anyone know, but I don’t think I realised how annoying that might be to those I became ‘friends’ with. This place is important to many, for many reasons.
