Verifications-Can you have too many? And how many would be too many?

Now we personally don't care whether a couple/woman or single guy we are looking to meet has one verifications or 100 as we work on the basis that everyone is after something different. Some like to play rarely and meet the same people regularly, while others like to play lots and love the thrill of meeting new people.

So we would never not meet someone because of how many verifications they have, but from comments we've heard we know that not everyone has a similar opinion.

So can you have too many verifications?

If so how many is too many?

And do you think its different for couples, single women and single guys?

It is more the content than the number that puts me off.

Altho, there are some that would give The Dead Sea Scrolls a run for their money !

I don't think I have ever been put off by a number.... just the who and what.

Agree with Bussy and Polo, it's not the number, but the devil that's in the detail which could put me off.

I will say yes, especially if they are daily. I usually see them as some of the more needy people and ranters if someone dares say NO.

When we look at a profile we want to no they are genuine but it doesnt matter how few or many as long as its there and theres something nice said to prove they do turn up.

I saw a female profile with over 80 the other day

But no, it doesn't put me off as such. It's just one more thing I consider in whether I want to meet someone or not.

The people who really put me off are the ones who forensically examine your profile and verifications (and even forum posts) and then either criticize or rumour-monger about you based on what they think they have found out or based on who you have met. Infantile and unpleasant behaviour in my mind. Have they really got that much time on their hands?

...and, no, I don't mean the 'straight' guys who post about sucking cock or something.

As a single guy it's a tough choice on what to show or not. Without them some won't meet you, with them some judge you harshly. I've just resorted to listing mine and simply let people decide for themselves.

I hate those long ones that ramble on, spelling out every single boring detail of a meet. Some things are best left to the imagination.

It doesn't bother me if someone has 1 or 100 veri's. It does bother me if there's 100 and 98 of them are from the same person.

I wouldn't know, since I have no veri's at all

I don't think it really matters to many, just another item of data to consider
