It’s so easy to forget that this even used to be a thing now. You wouldn’t think about travelling without being strapped in with a massive car seat.

I remember as a kid, my dad would drive us up to Scotland overnight and he’d fold down the back seats and so we could sleep laid out half in the boot. Unthinkable now!
