If the screen was rotated 90º and was in portrait mode and not landscape?

(because it's now the norm for video footage and websites)

Norfolk/Suffolk

My field of view is greater horizontal than it is vertical. Cinemas will always be letterbox format to suit.

by the big field

I might consider going back if i could go up to anybody waving their bloody phone round or texting (or talking/fidgeting/eating loudly/snoring etc) and beat them to within an inch of their life for disturbing my viewing pleasure.

Id also like to be able to watch the film in my pants and press pause when i need a wee....so in general, i think its best all round if i just stay at home

"The cinema stresses me out because I can’t control the volume "

Too loud? You can get special ear plug type things which supposedly don’t affect the clarity, just the overall loudness.

I see people using portrait mode more and more. When posted I ignore totally.

Landscape is the natural format for the eyes. 20:9 being the optimum.

Your field of view laterally is much greater than vertically.

It's an evolutionary trait to be able to spot danger from the side.

To the guy who posted that his vertical vision is greater, I ask you not to drive. It would be dangerous.

I don’t go anymore, I find Cinemas painfully loud, and it spoils the film.
