Jim advice.

Does it make sense?

Why start a political thread in any other forum other than the Politics forum?

¹ tip, use the Politics forum.

Jim, I must say, that, on the balance of probabilities, and taking into account the results of the latest opinion poll, that it might just be advisable to consider, or opt for, a different approach.

Capiche?

So what in the world does involve politics in some way shape or form?

I am a believer in that if a thread doesn’t appeal to you… pass it on by! It’s really not that hard a thing to do!!!

And you then wonder why so many people don’t engage in the lounge anymore… because a lot of it is either sugar coated fluff.. or in jokes!

If you don't like sugar coated stuff, start more threads. I have no sympathy for this view of the lounge if you don't contribute.

That a bit political this early in a morning Jim

I didn't even know there was such room so if this is the lounge does that mean there a living room and a bedroom and a bathroom.

You just had a pop at me for defending my section of society after you bashed it for being loud and loutish. It does wear thin, of this we are in agreement.

This has spoiled a particularly pleasant morning. Time to log out of fab for a few days. I was planning to before the climate protestor bashing started anyway. Hope you all have fun with that.

I think the likes of this thread is being reported that it should be in the politics section

Just because people mention what a political figure has said and you want to discuss it doesn't mean it is a political subject.

Sometimes subjects crossover a bit, but unless it is an obvious political thread started then the lounge is fine to discuss a general subject that is in the News

So to sum up...if you think a thread is in the wrong section, report the thread and it will be looked at. If it isn't in the wrong section and isn't moved, there is no point in starting threads telling people how to post.

Don't forget posters, the forum is for all .If certain peoples threads annoy you, they are easily avoided if they are not opened.
