right the question is do i whack as much paint on the middle of a wall then try to do the edges tidily or do i paint the edges tidily first and then whack paint on the rest ?

are you doing just one wall or the whole room and have you done the ceiling?

i do sugar soap all surfaces, mask off the edges, cutting in, main surface
