Was anyone else around when chat rooms were in their heyday. Early noughties (or should that be naughtiest!)

The 40s room on excite was a hook up fest.

So many happy memories of the women I met there, and through the MSN groups that sprang up.

The Good Ship Venus was a favourite, with UK RudeGirl and her Magic Hat Gatherings.

Happy babe’s Fun House was another.

Love to hear from anyone who remembers them.

I was kicking around the internet from the late nineties on. I didn't use the chat rooms so much as forums like Handbag.

Awwww…MSN chat rooms. Bloody loved them though I was more ICQ. Integral part of my formative teenage years, which probably explains a lot about why I’m so tapped in the head.

Yep, got my first internet enabled computer in 1997 at the tender age of 14. I still miss Lumley’s plummy tones. I do not miss yelling at my mum to get off the phone while I was online though.

I had my parents get an extra phone line so I didn’t have that problem. My problem was £200+ phone bills from 1p a minute internet connections

Was pre-installed with shiny, box shaped PC I bought from Dixons in 1998. But then of course Dixons owned Freeserve!
