Site Warnings

On a number of occasions I've had winks from guys and, being a courteous kind of guy and interested I send a message.

I then get a site warning that he is not looking for men.

I know why guys do that, they do not want to prejudice their chances with females.

But, the guy ha made contact so surely the warning is unnecessary?

The warning doesn't stop you from messaging them though unless they've blocked men from contacting them.

I do get it is a bit weird if they've already initiated interest by winking.

It’s done for more than just that and merely the site trying to prompt people to not time waste. It’s fit for purpose in same cases more than others. For example those that don’t read profiles… as you see it still doesn’t fully work with chancing buggers
