At what age do people stop receiving or expecting birthday cakes?

I think it's today for me, as I've not had any

Receiving and expecting are two separate things.

Happy Birthday

Near Wells

My birthday last week consisted of working 16 hours, opening 4 cards (sister, nephew, dad and ex wife) and one present of new clothes from my very nice ex wife.

I used to think that the day you were born is a day to celebrate as it's special. I'm not so sure, the last two were even worse.

I had to stop formal parties at 6 years old,

Any cake went in the appropriate places

Celebrated my 21'st with £20 off the old lander

Embarrassed by exploitation humility & unwanted people

It's very cold ritual celebration facing

Xmas after Guy faux Halloween & Shaking wet roofs The New Year just for one more

Tired of cheap booze also

Formal parties.

My last party I had a massive strop because some knob ate Colin the Caterpillar's face and it was MY birthday!!

So this year no party for me.

I still get my parents birthday cakes and they got birthday cakes for their birthdays. My nan is 95 and she got a birthday cake for her last birthday.

If nobody else does, get yourself one

Don’t worry op, have a chocolate biscuit instead

I would love someone to make me a cake, but I am the baker of the family.

I have done my siblings wedding cakes as well as birthday cakes, and last year they got me a bought one, which I received graciously and sent them home with the majority of. The rest went in the bin because I didn't like it!
