It’s been 10 years since I watched it. I’m sure it was all secrets and secret affairs then, and a bit of murder

Exactly! It was changing even back then.

Rochester, Kent

I’m not as bothered about the new timings, as I am about the lack of humour in it these days. There have been some wonderfully comical characters over the years; Blanche, Norris, etc, and more lately Steve McDonald, David Platt, Roy Cropper, Mary, but the scriptwriters aren’t giving them the lines

Glasgowish

Far too many more important things going on in the world just now to care about the timings of a soap opera.

I have a bookmark to the BBC Eastenders site so I know when it is on.

I have a particular friend who I know not to phone during that sacred half hour!

To be honest I’ve got bored of it , getting depressing like East Enders ( don’t watch either) it used to be really humorous with some comical characters

I haven't watched Corrie in 6 years. Just got sick of all the depressing storylines.

Years ago, Corrie used to have a good balance of humour and drama. Now, it's just nothing but constant misery.

In the middle

I probably haven’t watched it since the 80’s, it used to be fun to watch with Hilda and Stan or Jack and Vera adding a bit of humour to it
