No he needs lots of hugs and sympathy.... whats the worst that could happen? you may catch it, but it won't be half as bad

no, you need to keep him warm, and you may have to get him a drink or something in the night.

i had bad flu once when i was in my twenties, my hubby was on nights i went downstairs to get a drink and i fainted.

I would have thought the spare room is a nice option - I probably would consider the shed myself

if he is poorly and through no fault of his own keeping you awake, would it not be better for YOU to go in the spare room?

TBH I woould not as cruel as making anybody sleep in the shed... but I do believe a cold fresh bedroom aids better sleep and keeps bugs at bay. I d make him sleep in the spare room.

not even if after settling down to relax after a long hard day and a desire for some 85% chocolate, you find the OH has scoffed it..

agree on the cold bedroom, plenty of other ways to keep warm..

true, more of a 'under the patio' type of offence than plain old banishment ..

Yes as long as you are prepared to be made do the same when you are ill. you could resort to a paper bag on his head to stop cross contamination though if you don't make him sleep in the spare room.
