The land of grey peas and bacon

I love candles.. Scented ones are my fav. I have my side light on in the living room and candles lit.. I brought this candle that when lit changes colour its really pretty...

:-. All I need now is a hot man and some champers and strawberries...

serious answer now....i used to sell Partylite candles and learnt lots of useful tips!!

snuff dont puff to keep the with in the centre

hug the tops of your pillar candles to make them burn evenly and reduce the risk of wax spillage

Currently have warm spice burning, last night french vanilla and tomorrow probably strawberry buttercream.

I love the vanilla based ones - might have something to do with the fact vanilla scents are known to turn men on too..... :whistle:

Have you tried the 'Woodwick' ones Miss Chops ?

They smell really nice but they also make the crackling sound of a log fire

Well that's the idea at least.

I light one, forget about it and then half way through Corrie think 'what the fkin 'ells that noise ?'

Try 'em tho - they're nice (if a bit pricey at £12-£20 a throw)

My favourite Yankee Candle is Lemon & Lavender, but they also do a range of aromatherapy ones and the tangerine & vanilla one of them is lovely too.

I love the cinnamon / spice ones too, but you can over do them. I have a friend who has them on a lot and when you come ou of her house you always smell like Christmas.
