What was your lunch of choice? Was it school dinner's, packed lunch or did you go out for lunch. What was your favourite food? I would go out and have gravy and chips from the chip shop and he used to have half a batch loaf take out the middle and fill it with pickled onion monster munch yuk.

Manchester (she/her)

I very rarely had a hot lunch, birthday treat or similar.

Usually a sandwich, piece of fruit, bottle of juice and some sort of cereal bar

On a mooch

We didn’t have the option but school meals. My meals mainly consisted of plates of various types of potatoes, after swapping other elements of dinner for them. If no spuds, I’d just eat as much bread & jam as was on the table.

Saturday was the best day, rounders & chips with extra baked beans and a fresh cream cake for afters.

Back in my days we weren’t allowed out for lunch so I just had pasta with the 35p cheesepot. In sixth Form we had a Jamaican patty shop on our school road so of course that got hit up every single day. Except when I could only afford greggs

I actually liked onion sandwiches. The crunchier the better. And no, I did not put crisps in them, as that would have been flipping weird.
