I do. I remember the frost on the inside of the windows that you had to scrape off if you wanted to see outside.

Metal frames? That's posh.

I had wooden frames with missing putty.

Couldn't shut them properly in winter either as wood swelled.

And beds with tucked-in sheets, blankets, an outdoor coat on top, and you could see your breath when you woke up at 5am shivering.

Did you hear about the prostitute who mistook Vaseline for Putty?

All her windows fell out.

I've got single glazed Sach windows. This place is cold... I'm in court on Monday, i randomly ended up with a puppy, the landlord saw him and said either he goes or we both go. Fuck him. 19 years of cold winters,im done with this place.

Thanks. Considering where i live, the landlord owns the whole street and puts nothing back into the flats. He owns about 30 in the street. I think the puppy came into my life to get me the fuck out of here..

Any other problems not been dealt with like electrical or water issues that your dealing with as well.

Damp on the walls.

If you have photo them then report the flat to enviromental health.

The worst part was wanting the toilet in chilly drafty houses.

If you was lucky you had an inside toilet otherwise it was the hut at end of garden with torch in hand for toilet usage.

Certainly no fun in winter and ladies and spiders didnt mix in the toilet shed either
