Do you meet them early, on time or as close to the wire as possible

I like to leave things to the last minute.

Live life on the edge.

Early.

So they don’t know I’m coming.

I do my best work under pressure. I've never knowingly brought anything in before the deadline.

Depends on the deadline. I do like a spot of pressure to focus my mind though. I don't miss deadlines.

I think it was a line from Douglas Adams (Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy etc.).

"I love deadlines. I love the whooshing sound as they fly right past me."

It might not be the quote word for word, but that's the gist of it!

Close to the wire here. I always make a good start and then something usually gets in the way. Nearly always my kids

On a mooch

All depends how many juggling at the same time and the work involved for each, or responses needed from others. All of that has a bearing, my preference would always be to deliver earlier than expected, this leaves you wiggle room if needed to meet the deadline, if something gets delayed.
