I enjoy my own company. People are noisy, disappointing, smelly and spread germs.

Have friends, as long as I don't have to live with them. I live alone so have plenty of my own company to enjoy. If there's one thing lockdown taught me it's that I need company too.

I don't have many close friends.. I like my own Company, smaller the circle, the less drama.

I enjoy my own company and peace and quiet after a day at work having to suffer and talk to mainly obnoxious, impatient customers who don’t have the ability to plan ahead. When I socialise it’s with people who’s company I enjoy. I sound like Victor Meldrew.

We have no friends as such. We concentrate on our family and prioritise our children.

We are happy with that.

I tend to be very much a loner now, but over the years made a number of good friends sadly at the age I am now those friends have either passed away, gone into a care home or suffering from dementia, three things I am desperately trying to avoid.

I have two good friends and a few others I see occasionally. However outside of work I spend most of my time alone or with my new partner.

I’m a loner so I do prefer having long periods on my own, it’s just nice to know I can have company if I need it.

I spend the vast majority of my time by myself, I think the last time I did anything social in person that wasn’t even slightly work related in some way was early December maybe??

I do like my alone time, but socialising every now and again is very important for my mental health. Prefer to socialise 1on1 or small groups though. Am an only child so am used to my own company. X

I need my friends. Well their great. I do of course have 'me' time. Which is very important.

Humans by nature are social creatures. We're here talking to people we've never met and may never do. But it's fun. And happy.

I really enjoy my own company and love being by myself, but when I'm out with my friends or family I also really enjoy their company.

I do find after spending time with some people though I yearn to be alone.

Life and soul of the party. A decent amount of core friends. No need to make more.. don’t have enough time for the ones I have.

Still enjoys his own company.

Why does everything have to be either or?

I am never in a position to enjoy my own company as I'm only ever alone when I'm driving, and that's usually only a 10 minute car journey. I would love an hour to myself sometimes where I could just do as I please.

I don't have any friends. I mean, I guess I have acquaintances who I have meaningless chats with, but nothing solid with anyone other than my partner.

It's not something that gets me down, I'm pretty good on my own. But I do have moments where I wish I had an amazing friend who I could go out and see often, text and just be myself around. But I'm still young and not really putting myself out there, so I'm sure in time it could easily happen.

I am incredibly lucky, a few years ago was the hardest year of my life and my friends really were my rocks

I doubt I would be alive now to tell the tales if it were for them

The answer to your first question is "no-one". We talk to each other and drink tea on the sofa.
