Do you often judge a film by the year it was made? Ones you haven’t seen before and not classics. See it was made in 2009 or 1987 and think nah? 2021 yep give it a go!

My top ten of films currently, not one was made in the last decade.

1. Jaws

2. Cinema Paradiso

3. Blade Runner

4. Apocalypse Now

5. Streets of Fire

6. The Warriors

7. The Long Good Friday

8. Leon

9. Pulp Fiction

10. Subway (Luc Besson) mainly because of Isabelle Adjani

Actually not one in the last 20 years.

No. I wouldnt know what was a good year or a bad year for films (1997? An excellent vintage).

It does shock me sometimes when I find out films I think are 10-15 years old are actually closer to 30 years old, but that's because I have no concept of what an old fart I am.
