Same here I’ve been in hospital all day as my temp wouldn’t come down it was dangerously high at 41 at one point. It’s about 37.8 now so much better but I’m still hot. I called my mum to say bye that’s how bad I felt. I’m 30 years old ffs and was crying on the phone to my mum haha. Never too old for mum sympathy.

Paracetamol is a god send. Unfortunately I’ve had all 4 doses now so can’t have more. It’s gonna be a long night.

This is only day 1. How long did you feel unwell for? X

I was in bed for 3 days, the pain was absolutely unreal but strangely my tests weren't positive until the 2nd day

(I did pcrs and lfts)

I'm still not 100% now and I had it 3 months ago

My brother tested positive before me. He’s mild. I had the faintest positive today it was barely noticeable at first. I’ve ordered a PCR in the post as there’s no drive through sites anymore.

Yeah I know what you mean about the pain my head and joints are agony. Never felt so poorly. Even my skin hurts. If we’re this bad now imagine how bad the first wave must’ve been. X

I was same absolutely dreadful

My tips are :

Spread the paracetamol out by only taking one tablet to keep temp in check

Also chill max pillow inserts and stock up on ice poles (help to keep you gently hydrated too) remember to replenish salts in the body and when you’re feeling a little better start on the probiotics to get your gut health back on track too.

Vit d supplements max dose has also been found in some to reduce the length of the illness and vit c is just generally good for the immune system but don’t go overboard on orange juice as that can irritate your stomach cranberry or apple juice is a bit gentler
