It's the most 80s thing - I think that artists had done similar before, but this was something that everyone got behind." yeah that's pretty 80's, but then so is live-aid, monsters of rock at donnington park, the friday rock show with tommy vance, freezer bags of evostick, running around nuclear airbases being chased by squaddies who couldn't catch a cold, trying to figure what the fuck was happening on channel four american football, the tube, frank bruno getting beaten up, musical youth getting away with singing about narcotic use on kids tv, fierce sound clash nights in butetown community centre ... all more 80's than the guitar player from 70's rock band vinegar joe and some birds in black with bouncing tits to be fair. | |||
