Bristol

Tonight we've had homemade sweet & sour turkey with egg fried rice and spring rolls (not home made)

Dessert will be meringue gelato cake with chocolate sauce (VERY naughty but VERY nice) I've also thrown the makings of a beef bourguignon in the slow cooker for tomorrow night as I will be at the gym straight from work so can walk in to a healthy cooked meal.

I consider myself a good cook (hence he weight issues). I can open the fridge and throw together a great meal without consulting a cookbook and cook a mean curry and naan from scratch as well as many other things.

I will cook just about anything and yes love cooking, baking, making jams, cheese etc.

I grow my own meat, poultry, eggs and veg so Im lucky that I have great ingredients to work with. Now just need some trout fry for my pond and Im sorted

Herrings or mackrel are too fishy fish for for me, I think.

Pickledly stuff I think I could try actually.

Question, and dont laugh.... But are pickled eggs crunchy?

Awesome, me too, well at least i used to, they've put me behind a desk now...

Won't ask where you work, but what sort of establishment is it and what style of cooking? Any accolades?

i work in a busy cafe/resturant, we have alot of frozen stuff ordered in which is absolutely disgusting in my opinion...im lucky they let me use alot of my own recipes, get quite alot of compliments on the home made stuff i do which is always nice
