I told my mum I was popping in with her gift so she fucked off out with her fave daughter instead to avoid me, not going to lie, it's really hurt me. Plus ive got 3 kids and only one gave me a card and hes the youngest. All in all ive had a pretty pants and emotional day.

Our daughter (5) produced 4 cards, made at various places or provided by Mr Sainsbury's (via Mr KC). Child A (an actual adult) did not buy a card, but made us some dinner. I don't need bits of paper from him to know he loves me.

Mine has a happy mother's day every day of the week! Although she has vascular dementia, and has been known to rant and rave at people who she imagines are around her, but who have in fact l been dead for years, she's here with me, warm, clean, and protected in comfortable fully adapted and equipped surroundings, fed on the best of food, kept medicated as required, with wheelchair adapted vehicles to take her out in, and I don't take a penny off her. What more could a mum want when she becomes totally dependant, even if it has clipped my wings for a bit, with partying on the back burner for a wee while.
