"I love the feel of a real proper paper book but for holidays cant beat the new kindle, read in daylight in the dark is waterproof (perfect for beach, pool or bath) can hold an entire library and weighs less than a paperback." I know what you mean but not for me. I like to find a little bit of sand in between the pages when I get back. Or even some suntan oil stains

"I like Stephen king, horror, mystery kind of books but will read other things. My last book was The Midnight Library" Just read Billy Summers, really good book and a departure from King's normal genre.

"I prefer a real book" Yes, as I said me too. But biggest advantage of kindle is that moment you get a page or two into a book and decide either dont like it or its no 3 in a series or something like that. With a kindle you dont have to go back to the room/suitcase or shop/library, you can just open a different book. At home(except for the bath) always always a real book. On holiday definitely a kindle for me.

"I prefer a real book" If you're not super fussy, get thee to a charity shop with a good book selection. You'll save a lot of money on the books. (I then donate them back. Book rental, lol)
