After a mildly in depth conversation about these I have since been wondering how you would feel if you were randomly approached about your ink.

Would you be creeped out or friendly if someone came up to you in a pub, club or hell the supermarket and complimented your tattoos?

Its lovely when people randomly comment on them. Nice things obviously.

I have found in clubs recently they are great ways to break the ice and I enjoy it when people read the one across my back using their fingers.

I like getting people to find them. It's a fun way of letting people know if I'm happy being touched by them.

My ink tells my life story. Each piece has a reason for it.

Bit like reading a book on my body !

I often get asked about my neck one and they always ask “ did it hurt ?”

Only ever had a negative remark from a pensioner saying I’ll regret them in later life ! Erm, no I won’t, that’s why I had them done , so they remind me . None were done on a whim or to be a trend . Some people may like ink , some may not but I like all mine .

"Why do so many swingers have tattoos?

Because tattoos look great

That's correct

I don’t actually know many people that don’t have at least one tattoo.

I can't have one due to a spot of skin cancer, but I don't know many women without one

Mrs has 3 and wants a couple more but I’d be covered from the neck down if I could afford it."

I'd need a massive gofundme for the amount I want

I’ve worked out it’s going to cost me at least £1400 for my next tattoo

I've had a woman on a train station platform lift the hem of my skirt to look at mine better, and some daft bint at a swinging social start stroking my legs because she thought my tights were patterned.

Both ignorant consent violations and make me very wary of having ink on show.

It’s so expensive but totally worth it. The pain when you’re 5-6 hours in… not so much.

"After a mildly in depth conversation about these I have since been wondering how you would feel if you were randomly approached about your ink.

Would you be creeped out or friendly if someone came up to you in a pub, club or hell the supermarket and complimented your tattoos?

P"

It has happened a couple of times and I don't mind at all.

I get far more compliments and comments on my hair though.

We are both perfectly happy receiving compliments about our ink, unless it's done to clearly get in the missus' pants. Then it depends on who's giving the compliments.

I often get asked about mine. But there is a story behind everyone I’ve got. So it makes for a good conversation.
