Profile makeover

I’ve been on a few dates with people that claim their dating profile or bits of their profiles were written by friends/ housemates.

Would you let someone else write your fab profile?

(I know we used to do threads offering to write other people’s but would anyone do it seriously?)

I would be happy for someone to try as long as they don’t get offended if I question it afterwards

"Oh god no, they might make me sound approachable."

All women are approachable to men. No matter what. Men are relentless.

We took some advice from a fellow forum user before we rewrote ours.

Our old bio had just became a list of donts to stop the one line, boring question messages. It didn’t work anyway so took some advice and wrote what we have now.

I'd let someone give suggestions but I like my profile already and it should really be written by yourself anyway I think

Fair enough. Would you question it if it was all lively things or only if there were things you felt weren’t true

I agree it should. I think it’s interesting though the way friends describe people on dating apps. It weirdly feels just as honest but also intriguing. I don’t know.

If it was written with a different personality coming across. I feel it would be inauthentic

Yes I would almost certainly

Not my fab profile I wouldn’t but my tinder profile has been written by my friend who is a woman. I think it’s better for a woman’s point of view on a dating site but as this isn’t that kind of site it needs to come from you personally no matter how bad you are at wording things like myself lol

I’d let someone write my fab profile. It would need to be funny though. I change my profile every few weeks anyway!

I wrote Jo and Ds for them off the back of a thread and it was hilarious if I do say so myself
