What a difference a day makes

For some as yet undermined reason yesterday felt like a very dark day ..nothing was working (at work), the world felt like it was against me opaque promotion criteria that I couldn't get my head around), no one understood (no colleagues/friends available to discuss) etc...

Today, feel right as rain. None of the above is resolved, but the sun is shining, it's Friday. I'll finish early and enjoy the weekend.

So, my conclusion:

What a difference a day (can) make...

Thought I might share this incase anyone identifies ...if not, well, happy Friday!

Glad today is better, OP. And hope you get that promotion!

Can't remember who said this, but seems to fit: "even our darkest hour only lasts 60 minutes"

OP - I am glad today is better for you.

When I was working I used to keep copies of stuff to protect myself where I thought someone would try and have a go at me later. 5 years after retirement I burnt it all. Very theraputic! Never needed it.

Things are never as bad as they seem. One key mantra to remember is "When a decision is necessary, to make no decision, is 100% wrong" Carpet the Day! - as the Romans used to say.

Blue sky and Sun can really have a positive effect on people, especially if a SAD sufferer. Add in the fact its Friday and we can understand why you would feel better.

It can even just be you slept well and you brain processed stuff while you did and left you in a better place.

No matter why we hope you enjoy the weekend.
