I'm sick of feeling shitty, LF coming back negative, is there a flu like virus going around (that's not covid)

So I'm moody, run down & hate the world, and attention seeking. Totally lowering the tone in preparation for the weekend

I was at a gig in Cardiff fri night, felt rough sat with a cold and flu symptoms.

Sat night temp through the roof, Monday tested positive for covid. Im feeling fine now but still have a positive test.

It was just like flu tho

With people having been locked down, isolated, mixing less. Tolerance for other illnesses is much lower

I’m currently testing positive but my wife who has the exact same symptoms is testing negative.

Not that any of this information helps but maybe you’re getting a false negative.

Yes, the flu like virus that tests negative on LFT is called flu.

Try to get out of the house for a walk around, cabin fever sets in fairly quick.

Hope you feel better soon.

I've had covid a few weeks ago, just a bit of a cold but once LFTs came back negative the joint pains started, hopefully go away soon.

Thanks. I’m not really bad. I just get a bit fatigued later in the day. Other than that it’s just a mild cold.

ok I have boxed up a food parcel with a blanket and hot water bottle... yes there is loads of chocolate in the box lol
